Deal of the Day!

Alienware Area 51 M15x.
Alienware did an amazing job putting together a 15-inch gaming laptop that is both lightweight and powerful. The M15x comes with great features on the base model and the price is a little over $1000.
The M15x is the little brother of the M17x. The design of the case looks great with its glossy look but it is made from a plastic material. You can upgrade your processor to the Core 2 Extreme which will put in the same league as the M17x.
Here are the specs on the M15x that we looked at. This laptop comes in two different styles the Ripley design and the Skullcap design, and in different color effects which are personalized by you.
  • Windows Vista Home Premium
  • 2.8GHz Core 2 Extreme X9000
  • 2-megapixel webcam
  • 15.4-inch
  • Blu-ray burner/DVD±RW combo drive
  • 200GB internal drive and an additional 320GB swappable hard drive
  • 7.1 pounds
  • nVidia GeForce 8800M GTX (512MB)
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
  • headphone and mic jacks
  • 3 USB, 1 Firewire

My Rating
The Alienware Area51 M15x laptop is a great looking laptop and performs well too. The thing is you would have to spend over $4000 to get the same configurations as the one's I just ran through.
I give this laptop a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. It performs great the battery life isn't very good at a mere 1 hour and 22 minutes when playing a hi-def dvd, but its still a great gaming laptop. Alienware has worked hard to cut down on its power consumption when plugged in too so don't be afraid to give the M15x a chance.
